Meet The Therapist

I’m Johnishau “Nisha” Herring-Smith, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families find healing, balance, and purpose. Throughout my career in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
My approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and empowerment. I believe that every person carries the potential to heal — sometimes, they just need the right tools, support, and space to rediscover it. In therapy, I create a safe, judgment-free environment where you can unpack life’s challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with your true self.
As the founder of All Kinds of Girl Ish (Inspiring Self-Healing), my mission is to help girls and women rise above pain, break cycles, and embrace growth with confidence and self-love. Using a blend of evidence-based methods, trauma-informed practices, and strength-based interventions, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs and goals.
Whether you’re beginning your healing journey or seeking to deepen your personal growth, I’m here to walk alongside you — reminding you that your story matters, your healing is possible, and your transformation begins with you.
Great Healing, Always.
— Johnishau Herring-Smith, LCSW
